Following an ongoing outbreak of yellow fever in the Republic of Angola and the occurrence of cases reported in Kenya by the Country’s Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Health of Rwanda is implementing preventive measures against the importation of yellow fever into Rwanda.
As a measure to protect the health of Rwandans and visitors to Rwanda, all travellers coming into the country are requested to present their updated yellow fever vaccination certificate at the arrival point. Yellow fever vaccination will be provided to all non-vaccinated travellers arriving at Kigali International Airport.
We also advise all Rwandans travelling to vaccinate themselves at least 10 days prior to travel for their own security.
